It hasn't been until recently that the community added all of the letters. People are still not "politically correct" yet. It's sort of like when the Asians when from Oriental, or Blacks to African American, it takes awhile for the rest of the world to get with the program.

Controlling Current with regulator?

I am wanting to power my GPS (TomTom) when I ride my bicycle on super long trips. I have exhausted every other option so I came up with an idea. I was going to either make my own "D" battery pack or use a 12 volt car battery I have in the garage. Either way I want to mount them on my bike. My question is if I make a battery pack how do I control the power coming from it? If I tape 25 "D" batteries together it is more power than the GPS can handle so how do I control how much comes to it? I am looking for some type of hand turn regulator. Nothing fancy.

My friend's mom is my boss at an after school day care program. She is single and her son is a very close friend on mine. She assured me he would be home within the hour. The conversation went back to the hot tub and she asked if i wanted to continue drinking, and jump in. I said what the hell and she proceeded to strip down to her underwear and get in with a beer. I felt very uncomfortable and nervous and said I needed to leave. Since I had been drinking she refused to let me leave and told me to relax. So I went inside and feigned being ill until my friend got home 2 hours later. Now I feel like i cant face her at work or be around my friend, I'm confused on if I should say something to my friend or if i'm over analyzing the situation. 4 year old cat not using litter box?

i have a 4 year old ally cat. he was fixed years ago. but just about a month ago he stopped using hhis litterbox to pee. he still does "everything else" in his litter box but he pees in the living room ect. he does have hair loss on his legs and ears if that makes a difference. is there a way to help him without going to the vet. any training sprays that arent too expencive that might work?

Why do 'people' try to cheat the system?

Seriously, why would someone (or HOW can someone) think that it's reasonable to live through this one life we've been given without working toward some goal? Truly disabled people I can understand, obviously, but why claim your child to be mentally deficient in some area just to get more money from the government... or why feign an illness or disability when you know you're not REALLY hurt? Is there no self dignity in this subset of our population? I've never been in a predicament to begin to predispose me to such actions (fortunate or not), but if I had NOTHING I'm quite sure I'd be knockin' on every door imaginable to do something to provide for any family I might have. How are people like this allowed to remain in our society (no need to invoke ACLU actions here). Thoughts?
