1992 S-10 fuel injected won't start without starter fluid (Need it to get to college) Please give any ideas?

I have a 1992 S-10 that has no fuel coming out of the injectors when you try and start it and I can hear the pump running but after you start it with starter fluid fuel comes out just fine. At first it would die when you tried to let idle but now after changing the things that two mechanics I know said to try (fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, idle air control valve, vacuum lines, and fuel pump) it now still has no fuel coming through the injectors when you try to start it but once you start it with starter fluid it will run fine until you shut it off again and then it is the same story all over again. Anyone have any ideas or ever heard about or seen anything like this before? Any help is appreciated, thanks
