How does one deal with their child being the best?

I would say, learn to see the inherent worth and value in all children. Find something good to say about each other parent's child, and there will be far less of them being jealous or petty. Also try to volunteer a lot and help with school events. Your reputation will be based on how much you give, not on how smart, talented, or handsome your child is.
