Is confidence really the key to attractiveness?

If I see a guy who is unconfident I wont even consider him, no matter how gorgeous he is. However, if a confident guy comes up to me I'll probably give him a shot, like wise I'll go up to a guy who I think has some self-respect. However, cocky guys are disgusting and not worth my time.
